Your personal data – what is it?
Personal data relates to an individual who can be identified from that data. Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any information in the data controller’s possession or likely to come into such possession. From May 2018, the processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Radfords Estate Agents are a professional firm selling and letting property.
How do we process your personal data?
Radfords Estate Agents complies with its obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
Radfords Estate Agents use personal data for the following purposes:

• Letting properties
• Property maintenance
• Professional work
What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
The GDPR states that explicit consent of the data subject is required so that Radfords Estate Agents can keep its applicants and clients advised of pertinent information.
Sharing your personal data
The information is collected by Radfords staff and will not normally be shared with any other third parties other than for the purposes of an EPC, Landlord Gas Safety Certificates, Solicitors, Mortgage Brokers, Credit Referencing Agencies with regard to Lettings and Tradesmen instructed to carry out works. Your information will be kept on Radfords computer base which is controlled by Jupix, Property Software Holdings Ltd, The Cooperage, 5 Copper Row, London SE1 2HL.
How long do we keep your personal data?
The information will be held for the life of either the transaction or until either party decides it is no longer required.
Your rights and your personal data
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
• The right to request a copy of your personal data which Radfords Estate Agents holds about you.
• The right to request that Radfords Estate Agents corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date.
• The right to request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for Radfords Estate Agents to retain such data
• The right to withdraw your consent to processing at any time
• The right to log a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office.
